🗽 Fresh Finds 🗽

#1 🎯 Electric Shuffle

This place is chaos in the best way possible.

Imagine if someone took a British pub, added neon lights, built-in shuffleboard tech, and pumped it full of espresso martinis. You’re not coming here for a quiet drink, but to beat your friends at shuffleboard, yell, laugh, and maybe forget who won.

Great for team outings, birthdays, maybe a 2nd date.

#2 🍣 Aqua New York

Aqua New York opened a few months ago. I was walking home from an event in Flatiron and was surprised to see a place like this in the neighborhood.

Aqua feels like it belongs somewhere else. Maybe Miami or Macao. Not NYC though.

The food is a fusion of Mediterranean x Japanese. Think yellowtail crudo, wagyu skewers, and dishes with a bunch of truffles. Good if you need to charm a client or a date.

Bonus: The upstairs turns into a lounge late at night. If you stay long enough, you’ll feel like you’re in a movie where everyone is too cool to talk about what they actually do.

#3 🌶️ Szechuan Mountain House

The best Szechuan food in the city, hands down. These guys don’t mess around.

I order from this restaurant a couple of times a month. Dishes I recommend:

  • Swing Pork belly

  • Fish in Sour Cabbage Soup

  • Crispy Sizzling Tofu

If you’re craving something spicy and authentic, check them out.

Warning: not for the weak.

I’m curious—what did you think of today’s edition? Hit ‘reply’ and share your feedback—I’d love to hear it!
